Trans question... Hi,
What would make the 4th gear go out in the trans?
It seems to me with all the torque and power 1st through 3rd, 4th wouldn't be an issue.. But I see there are a few people on here along with myself that have had 4th go out. This is even if the car is really not beat on let alone punching it all the way through 4th gear....
Also what would cause the car to feel like when you take off at a light with light throttle to snap like the tires spun then gripped or slow neutral slam ? Did this twice in the last week?
My third question is, will the predator tune the trans and firm up the shifting instead of putting a shift kit in it and help the trans in the long run?

Trans question Thanks, I saw that option but im really not looking to spend alot of money on this car for any mods.... Just want it to last for about 3 years for my everyday driver. I really didnt buy this car to toy with. Just wanted some nice reliable transportation.
I do have another car for the summer I drive on nice days..

WOT shifts into 4th don't help when your making some power. I won't let my cars shift into 4th at WOT. From what I remember there are only two clutches holding for 4th gear and they can potential get burned up pretty easy resulting in slippage.
