oil consumption
so ive been getting my oil change pretty religiously every 3k with conventional oil... problem is.. that im about 1 quart or more low everytime i come back there is that enough to send my car into the dealer for the consumption issue, and would they cover under the powertrain warranty? i have about 62 k miles on it

tell them it consumed about a quart and a half
they will first replace lifters and what not
after that they replaced my whole engine completely under powertrain warranty
also use synthetic

if its an 06 you can get a diablo tune, its its an 07+ you can ONLY get an hp tuner. you can buy one your self ( about 299.99 with some credits) or you can find a local tuner guy you can take it to and he can tune it for you. realistically he should tune out dod and alot of other stuff for about 200 +

I was one of the lucky ones. From 20k to 59k I beat the dogshit out of my Impala. She took it. Tranny was strong and didn't burn any oil. The Trailblazer doesn't burn any right now either, I switched to Amsoil at 35k. I like seeing the dipstick at full after 5k miles!
