Mel... and everyone else... if you have ever seen any of my other posts about this tcm/tranny support subject for the past year or more -- as I have mentioned, tcm/tranny support will NEVER be available for the predator... the predator is done for... adios.. hasta la vista baby... goobye.. thanks for playin'... sweet dreams... predator's are being phased out...

they are being replaced by the new inTune programmer that was just released a few weeks ago...

the tcm/tranny update is out/available now for the Trinity!!

it will eventually make its way to the new inTune programmer as well... but I don't know how long that will be, but it shouldn't be long...

but it IS available for the Trinity right now!

so if you have a Trinity, go to that link I posted above in my original post ^ ^ ^ ^


I have done a custom tcm/tranny tune for my car and it rocks! much firmer, much quicker, car pulls like crazy... it's awesome...

no.. actually, the shift kit is a recommended mod along with the accumulators as they are plastic and should be replaced with the metal ones, so they can handle increased line pressure...

now, that being said, I know hundreds of people with other cars/trucks, that all have stock trannies, and have increased shift/line pressure and shift speed, and have had no issues at all with their trannies.. so, it's up to you I guess...

quicker/firmer shifts are actually good for the tranny, for the fact that it creates less heat buildup compared to the way it shifts stock.. and less heat is always a good thing for trannies...
