stock spring versus ls6 question
so i might buy 1.85 comp camp roller rockers , i herd that with the ls6 springs people experience valve float, well my new replacement engine only has a 1,000 miles. so do i need to replace my springs? if so could i get ls6 springs and be fine or would i need to find some dual springs?

Yes...The stock springs are only good to .500 lift. With a stock LS4 cam and springs and those rockers, you're going to be well over that. If you get brand new LS6 springs (the second Gen units, not the first Gen), you should be okay with those rockers. Even better still would be a set of PAC 1218 springs, and the best way would be the PAC 1518.
Edit: Dual springs have better valve control and give you extra insurance against dropping a valve.
