Trans update Here is the lastest update on the bad trans.....Car flat bedded to dealership, on the way there tow driver tells me "I will more than likely pick this car up later and bring it to the trans shop after they diaganose it. He said they sub-out the trans work, the trans guy just drops them and puts in either a rebuilt or whatever. Said if i talk to the trans guy he will give you the beefed-up trans for about $1,500 more.
Dealer still has the car after 8 days now. I started a case the GM on the phone. Car has only 26,000 miles and it was only 7 weeks past the 5 yrs. warranty
Best they will do is give me " A New Tranny" ( I doubt it).. Dealership will pay, ($3,000.00 for the tranny) and me pay for the labor $1,400.
I argued alot with GM on the phone but no-one is budging.
I told them make the trans $10,000 that will look good right!! wow we really help or customer!!and still charge me for the labor.
