There's a white one in my neighborhood imagine for a second its our car with an even worse trans tune. Hard to imagine I know but its true. I believe it takes around 8 minutes to shift from first to second.

I know all too well since I live in Syracuse. Fortunately, my Monte is sitting in heated storage and won't leave until all the damn salt has been washed away. Side note: I can't believe how warm it is today! 52* on Jan 31st is just crazy talk

My trans seems to shift just fine, thank you! Yeah, it has a little torque management thrown in there but so do the other LS4-powered cars.
Oh, BTW. Good spot hazards! We are out there, we just tend to fly under the radar.
