2. Space and complexity. A centrifugal blower won't fit in the space given, and even if it did, our funky accessory drive makes matters worse and would most likely need to be re-engineered. A roots-style blower may be a slightly easier fit, but you'd still have drive belt issues, and you modifying the hood may also be necessary.
Of course, you can solve any problem with enough $$, but it becomes a question of whether $10,000+ for 150 RWHP is really worth it!

like today, i raced an LS2 GTO on the highway and lost, but not badly, i held my own. dude pulled up next to me after we both got off and was like surprised which I liked too
and while I'm not spending $5500 on the turbo in this lifetime for a FWD car, i think that the kit is a decent value, it includes the water/meth kit, an electric cutout, a quality turbonetics T66, and so on...slap some forged pistons, beefy head gaskets, head studs, and all arp hardware, and crank that turbo up for another 100+ HP for about $1000 if you can DIY, add a cam and DOD delete and your really in business
I do want to see an LS4 that can run LS9 heads with the LS9 2.3L blower...that would be the coolest FWD engine ever, and would for sure be in at least 1 magazine
