Huh, no kidding. I was always curious about that. Threw down with one on the highway last fall and pulled on him. Granted I had literally no fuel left and it was a cooler day, but I was moving away from him slowly but surely.

There's a few 500hp srt4's around here that hurt plenty of feelings.

Well I raced a moded srt4 with my old 92 Audi s4 and he had a massive turbo. I'd keep up with him till top of my gear then he would walk. I'd shift and gain back ground. And I had beat some first gen sti's and one ws6 so they can be devilishly fast

You know, I've got my LS4 project going on in a rear engine Corvair. I had a one off adapter made for the FWD pattern, though a one off flywheel is a big part of it too. The cobalt motor would save a lot of weight in the back. And 300 hp wouldn't be too difficult to get with a turbo or SC. But I've already dumped a lot of cash into my current setup. Guess we'll see.

He did say he had an 1992 Audi S4 not an A4, which are completely different cars. http://www.dragtimes.com/Audi-S4-Timeslip-8912.html there's a link to one that went 12s. And an srt 4 running high 11s or low 12s has more than tires and 25 psi. It takes many mods to make an efficient 25 psi.

i think the ops car should beat the sc cobalt. now the tc cobalt is a completely different animal, but still not unbeatable. im not going to claim to be the best stick driver in the world, but i drove a sc cobalt a couple years back, and was very unimpressed. i definitely think my monte would stomp one pretty hard. dont get me wrong theyre cool little cars, but not exactly a fair match up against an ls4 car. now if its actually a stage 3 car thats a different story.

SRT4's are pretty damn good. I had a friend buy one about 2 years ago and I did the "LOL Neon" giggle at him. Once I looked into it I was pretty shocked. Then I got in it and let him show me what it could do. I was pretty speechless. Those cars were built to go fast and are no joke.
