Love my LS4
I'll tell you what, I never gave much thought to the GXP when it was out. Really didn't want another FWD car with decent power. The wife found this one at a dealer and we went to look at it. She drove it and I was in the passenger seat, it really drove pretty well. All in all, I'm glad we ended up getting it. It's a nice car that stays under the radar and still have fun in it.
Still have to do some mods so I can say its the fastest 4 door we've owned. Had a '92 Dodge Spirit R/T that was definitely quicker, but it wasn't as fast stock vs stock. When I had it to the track in '93, it went 14.4@100 bone stock. The GXP is quicker than that.
Anyway, the GXP is a nice car and glad we own it

It's a lot like the Mustang thing: LT1s and Mustangs are like hemorrhoids: Every ******* has one. (No offense to Levi or anyone else here that owns an LT1 and doesn't act like an ***.)

i owned a mustang as well, have to say wasnt my wisest purchase...
anyway i also got a tep transmission in, got about 200 miles on it and man its like a new car... thanks to all those who told me to get the 3.29s
nice to have the confidence to put my foot on the gas and know it will start moving... instead of hoping it will
