dissapointing track night.
And is every thread going to talk about how shitty lt1's are? Everyone does know ported heads and a cam will net them around 400 rwhp.
Don't get me wrong I love my car, but then again I probably wouldn't own it if I didn't have a reason for 4 doors(19 month old daughter). People are always going to say are cars suck bc there fwd and have tranny issues( even though just about any car you start modding will either need a built trans or clutch). So who cares just go out and enjoy your cars.

If I were to have to get a daddy mobile, G8 GT FTW! Love the looks of them, so I'm pretty biased though

I just priced one online the way I'd like it (sunroof, auto, gray, polished wheels) and I'm coming out with $69,655 msrp.
Regardless, the finance major in me would have a hard time spending ~$70k for a new CTS-V when I look online and see 09s for low-mid $40's. Talk about driving it off the lot and losing your ***!
But I guess the same argument can be made for my brand new jet ski which will likely be worth 60% of the purchase price in 2 years time. I just wanted something I knew the maintenance was done for I'd be mad too if my 303hp V8 car ran 14s
Imho.. The f-body should be faster, since its a true muscle car. We all know that the G8 replaced the Grandprix right? Thank you Pontiac!
There is nothing wrong with a fwd Ls4 5.3. I would rather have a LS based V8, then a inline 4 or northstar. Fwd does have its advantages "as a comuter"
303hp out of the box with 2.93 gears, pulling 3800+ lbs loaded, goes pretty good. I nailed plenty of 2.0 60fts. when stock.
The magazine writers don't know how to drive and they let the car **** into 3rd, rather then holding second tell 6000 rpm.

Yeah, the G8s suffer from the same problem. Need to hold the gear versus letting car shift through the traps
Chevy is supposed to be coming out with a G8 replacement. Hopefully it looks decent. Look up 2014 Chevy SS
