Default Free Air Box Mods?

Are there any free air box mods for the ls4s? I know the f bodies have this, and te vettes have the zip tie mod. Has anyone done this on an LS4, and how were the results?

Our cars don't have baffles or anything like that in the air box, so there's not much you can do, other than perhaps open the hole up, both in the box and behind the headlight.

From what I've heard, the stock air box is not that restrictive, and I honestly didn't feel a difference after installing the K&N cold air setup. If I were going to do it again, I'd probably get the Cold Air Inductions kit because it actually seals the filter cone from the heat under the the hood.

I opened the stock air inlet with a jig saw. I went east to west but didnt go higher than where the stock inlet was. Cant say this turned it into a fire breathing machine but throttle response seemed slightly better
