Default Whats the better mod for the money?

with tax season coming up im debating on getting a diablotune or cold air intake among other things. what would be the better bang for the buck i was thinking a cold air intake a tbs and a shift kit from transgo and the cold air would be a cai but just wanting peoples opinions on the options and yes i have done all of the maintenance on the car and i just recently beat up the tranny to get it rebuilt by my transmission guy under my extended warranty.

Dont waist your money on the TBS(throttle body spacer for those who don't know). A DiabLEW(custom tune by Lew 06monteSS) tune would be your best bang for the buck on what you listed. Still get the shift kit though as many people on here swear by them.

what ImpSS07 said ^ ^ ^

and I can hook you up with a package deal for the inTune or Trinity plus a custom tune so you'd save some $$ whenever you're ready to get one...

feel free to hit me up with any questions if you have any...

thanks!

Lew did you ever get the ability to tune the trans?

Yes, he can tune the trans now.

I would go with a Trinity Lew tune. Plus Lew can tune for additional mods which makes his service priceless!

The Trinity does more then just tuning.

I got a TCM/ECM tune from lew, and my car feels like a whole different car. Cant go wrong with him, he knows his stuff and is ALWAYS there with quick e-mail responses.

Shift kit and a Trans Cooler to accompany the Lew tune. the first two should always be first on the list.

+1 for the Lew tune first. I believe a good trans tune can help extend its life til you can strengthen it up.

well either next year or as early as this summer this car may be paid off and then a tep built trans will be getting ordered. i have a project truck that i am also working on but most of that is body work right now.. thinking about finding an old 6.0 iron block for it and a t56 and then ordering a 67mm and get it tuned by our race tuner patrick barnhill.

If you were in MA I would send you to SMG Motoring. They did the tuning on my engine and trans.
