Sorry it's been so long since the last official update, but things have been very busy for me, and I've not had the time to support the LS4 community as much as I did before.
There's been much misinformation about whether the forthcoming LS4 Headers from CalSpeed are actually going to happen. I can understand this, as I've not been diligent in providing updates, and with a lack of information, people will make assumptions or perhaps not understand what they're being told. I take full responsibility for this and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
So, here's the latest:
In response to a few GMLS4 members contacting Jim @ CalSpeed, I called and spoke to him at-length today.
What he told me is, that he still has not received a prototype from the manufacturer, which by the way, IS IN THE UNITED STATES, despite what a certain competitor is implying. The manufacturer originally indicated that they would have a prototype sometime in early December. Obviously, that didn't happen, and when Jim checked in with them, he found out that the LS4 headers had become a lower priority, as they've taken on some other projects with much larger production runs. Basically, they will get to the LS4 stuff when they've moved on from these other projects. We just don't know when that will be.
While that doesn't seem fair, the manufacturer is in the business to make a buck, and our run of 25-50 sets of headers (for now) is small compared to whatever it is they've taken on.
So, at this point, we have no date, but it will happen. I know many of you are losing patience, as it has been close to half-a-year since the initial announcement. Sorry for that. My lesson is not to mention this stuff until it is close to production, as Jim @ CalSpeed has suggested.
Anyway, for those of you that can wait, your patience will be rewarded. For those that can't wait, I don't blame you and certainly don't have any hard feelings.
I will be more diligent about future updates, so we can avoid future misunderstandings.
Please feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions.

I once bought cams for my motorcycle that were sold by someone, manufactured by someone else...turns out the manufacturer doesn't have the best reputation lol, always good to know these things
