motor mount

Im getting a new tranny installed in a couple of weeks and the shop where I'm getting it done mentioned that they've had to change the lower motor mount as well sometimes. Has this been the case? Does the cradle have to be dropped to change the tranny?? He said that while the cradle is down they might as well do the mount.

Is there a recommended mount over stock like one from zzp etc.

I bought the poly trans mount from zzp and have no issues . It's been 1 1/2 years already
