It's not what it sounds like. It is actually just a crushed section of the pipe where the O2 sensor is located after the cat.

Yeah, it's the flatten part of the pipe where the rear O2 sensor is located.

wow thats ubend looks worse then my old gtp



what size is the cat? 2.5?

just curious i have a couple high flow 2.5 cats just sitting in the garage from my camaro... looks like the downpipe would be pretty simple to make...
