No hijack at all. This was a thread to see other's cars, and get ideas to add to your own

Mine was blacked out, but the plasti dip got nasty so I tore it off. It's amazing how the wheels look just as clean as they did when you first put the spray on lol. Might do it again since it's getting warm out. I was getting some custom SS centercaps made but I haven't heard from the guy and its been a few months. Never paid him, but he said he was gonna come up with the design and show me. Don't feel like going back in and asking for them now.

What kind of design was he planning on coming up with? I've been wondering what an Impala looked like with GXP wheels. That. Or going with some black Saleens

I think this would be badass if I understand it correctly. Instead of the bowtie on the center cap have the SS symbol. It's a small detail, but the beauty is in the details. I love the little details on cars, shows you the effort that was put into the car.

Well I brought the car in and he measured the area for the centercap. We were gonna do a black cap with a silver SS. The same as the ones on the door, not the old ss emblems or the new one. It was gonna be silver. Idk maybe I will get a hold of him because now I kind of want to do it again. I wasn't in a great financial situation the first time around and it was gonna be hard to justify. I am fine now though.

Well, he did say it was only 15 bucks a cap, so yeah I should. My buddy interns at his shop, and he says its slow because the big money deals come first. They regularly have multiple vipers and SRT-10 trucks in there, because they are an SRT shop, so you might know how that goes. a 60 dollar customer is not a main priority. When(if) I get them done I will post a thread up about it. If people like them maybe he will take orders, idk.

How about black caps and blue SS That would be a pretty sweet deal. Maybe if he had a bunch of orders we could move to the front of the line. You sir. Are in charge of starting a group buy lol

He doesn't do the painting unfortunately. He has 2 types of caps. Black and silver. When he cuts into the black ones, it reveals the metal underneath. It may even be a black cap with a black SS traced by silver, similar to this.

I am sure the whole center can be cutout, as that is what I would prefer, but yeah he isn't a paint guy, he is an engine builder with the equipment and fine hand to do center caps.

Yeah. Could go with the lugs since they're still silver.
