Chevy SS clone?

Looking for something on ebay(forgot what it was now!!) when I came across a SS clone. I'm not sure if I am flattered or insulted

Crazy how the owners of the higher models debadge. and the base models rebadge. However, I see this all the time. My favorite is the base cobalt with the ss badging and 17" exhaust.

It's not even done well at all. It's the wrong color, chrome strip on the trunk, wrong grille, the whole interior is a mess. Wood dash and mixed leather colors... It's just so obvious that it isn't an SS. I think I even see a flex fuel badge next to the SS on the trunk. Dear lord...

edit: well this has caused me to go on a fake SS hunt and this turned up. NSFL:

His description of "Looks and drives as an SS but a lot less money" makes me chuckle... My previous car was an LT with the 3500 and it's nowhere near the same :p
