i thought it would be a tighter fit. mine are almost touching with the 245/45s
What tires are you running?? That's really weird. Maybe its the brand or tread design?

federal 595s 245/45/18. theyre cheap and get the job done. no complaints after 30,000 miles. they were a huge improvement over the rsas.

Thats weird. I dont see why its any different from the Imp or GXP as for spacing. Especially since I'm running 255s with more room it seems

idk. it looks a little tighter than 1-2in in your pic. were talking about 10mms here so going by a pic and what i remember probably isnt the most accurate way to make the comparison. ive also heard of ppl with the 6th gen montes putting the 7th gen wheels on them and rubbing the rear struts. so who knows. if it ever stops raining out here ill take a look. perhaps i was wrong about how close it is on my car.

have you tried to put the 8" wheel in the back with the 255s? i know ppl do it with the gxps, but im curious how they would fit on the monte/imp.

oh and im talking about the top of the strut to the sidewall/top edge of the tire. not the strut to the sidewall.

Ah. I see. Gotcha. Yeah not sure how the 8s would fit tho. Would be nice to have 8s all around.
