Helical LSD research
Show of hands, who would be interested in a Helical LSD for our 4T65E transmission? I was talking with a R&D rep from MFactory, a company that specializes in racing drive-train parts. Initial buy in would probably be 30 people. Price wise, their most expensive LSD was for an Audi and that was 1400. Can't imagine ours being anywhere near that complex so more than likely in the $500-800 range. Not to mention once they have the specs through R&D it would be a regularly available part.
I can't part-take on this right away as I have to leave for school next year--I want to know how many people would be interested. Keep in mind it could benefit all 4T65E owners (and thats a pretty big family).

You'd do well to post on the W-body & Fiero forums to find the right group for an initial order. Now that I've had my LSD broke in, I can tell you it's totally worth it! Up swing is you can order one now from Pontiac Jeff and have it in a couple weeks - $625 shipped.

Thanks for the input, but having a Clutch-type LSD worries me.
