Wheels stolen. What to do?
Hey guys,
I woke up Wednesday morning to find this
Now my car sits on a set of spare wheels I have. 16.5" steel police wheels.
I'm in the process of getting everything situated with my insurance company. Just wondering what you guys would do? Buy OEM wheels? Aftermarket? Used? Put some big wheels on it? Leave the stealies? I don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon.

Curious what your security measures were? Lug locks? Aftermarket alarm? Tilt sensor?
Wow, not even cement blocks?
Did you have any wheel locks? Where those the stock SS wheels on the car?

Damn dude, I would be livid !!!
If they were new tires, I'd say that's why they were taken - and by someone with a W body...
I'd go aftermarket, lots of options out there for less $$.

WOW. Sorry to hear that....it's pretty unnerving.
Given that they were stock wheels and new tires, I'm guessing you'll see close to $2k from insurance (min. $300+/wheel, plus w/e you spent on tires), less your (hopefully low) deductible. Since they're so expensive, I chose NOT to put locks on mine in HOPES someone would pull this, lol. You can get new wheels & tires (and locks) and still pocket money.
