Ever remove the chrome strip from the trunk?

Default Ever remove the chrome strip from the trunk?
Anyone remove that strip from the trunk? I have a bit of rust near it and I want to remove it to take care of the problem.

I need to know how to remove it without wrecking it.

Might just be stick on im not sure to be honest. Or pop the trunk and see if theres clips. Not much help i know lol. Never needed to take mine off

OK all you need to do is remove the cover inside the trunk lid and look in the cavity - the clips can be compressed with pliers.
