nys inspection fluke?

Dropped my impala off this morning to my buddy at monro muffler. Calls me an hour later tellin me its showing 2 not readys. So i tell him just slap a 10 day temporary sticker on it for now. He calls me back halfhour later and says it passed with the 2 not readys n he has no idea how lol. Lucky me i guess

That's strange! It's IMPOSSIBLE to inspect a vehicle in NY with more than 1 "not ready" monitor (depending on year of vehicle). The computer just does not allow it. Either you lucked out from a glitch or he was mistaken at how many monitors were not ready lol. Good deal for you though!

One if not both of the not ready's was probably an NA for your car. It also could have been a verification that is reset and run each time the car is started and not required for inspection.
