transmission randomness

transmission randomness i've been running a TEP transmission for awhile, but i think it did this before i swapped.
some times the car seems like the converter is locked and the rpms stay low and even feels like it doesnt want to unlock... other times its like driving around with a big stall, high rpms.
anyone else notice this? and found a fix?
