1st gear slippage. need advice.

1st gear slippage. need advice. OK. Being that I work for a multi billion parts company... I'm torn. And in Need some advice.
I am not sure if I should send out for a tep trans... or buy a rebuild kit and while I'm in there install a shift kit, new tranny filter and of course tranny cooler.
Or get a new tranny and installing a shift kit.
Either way I'm doing the work myself.
Is tep trans do anything different than if I were to rebuild my trans myself? With a rebuild kit and shift kit?

tep has a few things he does to fix the long longevity of the transmission. with that being said you can order a rebuild kit from him if you want to rebuild it yourself.
i went through the same thing a few years back and ended up going with a TEP transmission. it was a little more than a monster transmission, and a few other plain old rebuilds, but the big plus is it fixes issues, instead of just rebuilding it and end up having the same problem down the road.
