Default OBX Headers and cutout installed

I got some OBX Racing headers and a Badlanz 3" electric cutout a couple weeks ago

I also got 6' of stainless 3" pipe, Denso plugs, NGK tr6ix (one range cooler), extended front O2, and Stage 8 locking header bolts. I planned on running the 3" to the first bend and reduce it to 2.5" to hook into what is left of my Magnaflow cat back.

here are the pics.

exhaust work after installation of the headers.

I was really happy with how well the cutout fit right against the bottom of the car. Almost like it was made for it. I was worried when I got it that it was going to hang way down but it couldn't have asked for a better fit.

I only have a couple videos as of now but here they are.

Open headers right after install
a little more clear video of open headers

Open and closed cutout

that look on your face when you start your car for the first time with open headers

thanks. I am not really sure. I have heard 20whp for the Doug Thorleys but idk. I did it mostly for the sound and to justify having a cutout haha

with the cutout closed it is actually quieter than with my old setup with a catless hogan downpipe. with the cutout open since it is right on the floor board it definitely is something you notice haha. I like it though if i get sick of it i can just close the cutout and its sounds like nothing in comparison.

Thank you. Nice. I love it so far. I have Magnaflows too and almost have 3 inch all the way back. I extended my 3" to the first bend and might run it around to the Y later on.
