a/c delete
a/c delete anyone deleted their a/c compressor? If so what did you use to correct the belt?
It seems it will be pretty easy to fab up something with some thick flat bar and a pulley but I was wondering if anyone had "rigged" something using a premade ac bypass pulley. I looked at serveral on ebay and it looks like most even with some rigging the pulley would be spaced out to far....

Unless the bearings are shot on the ac pulley, it spins just as freely as a bypass pulley ever would when the ac clutch isn't engaged. So unless you're trying to save 15 pounds off the weight of the car, which most people can do by going on a diet, don't bother wasting your time chasing a fruitless mod.

My son's '98 Grand Prix AC compressor froze up, so we installed one of these a few weeks ago, it works great.

RKO- This LS4 is in my Lambo Diablo kit car, I have had it on there (just spinning) for over a year. Now I have a turbo and want it gone~~~~
GXP- I was looking at those but I just dont see it working on a LS4, the pulley part would stick out to far. But thats what Im looking for something like that....
