Default gear ratio hp tuner
Anyone have any information on how to change the pcm to adjust for different final ratio on my new transmission? I'll be using hp tuner software, thanks

What gear ratio did u go with?
Its super easy click on speedo and its right there

My overall ratio will be 3.11:1 , That was the only chain that was available. I could of gotten a 2.93 but wanted better acceleration. I can handle wheel spin with the throttle input. Thanks , i've not actually received the software yet , just trying to get a jump on things. Thanks as usual 08 pimpala ss

Hey man, you sure on the 3.11:1 ?? Doesn't ping as a standard ratio..

I'm positive , and its not a standard ratio , its a GM racing chain that is making that final ratio with

GM Racing 1" chain set is a rare combination that gives you 36 drive / 34 driven (36/34 = 1.059) so 3.29/1.059 = 3.11:1 which is my new overall gear ratio

300m is a Zzp item gm offered the aeremet input shaft.

People still shear 300ms at 500wheel if there not careful

Yes , but they don't make them anymore and i could not find one. So the 300m will have to do.
