the new guy Hi everyone this is my first post on this site I've been on other forums but its been awhile. I just bought a 2008 Grand Prix GXP. its my first front wheel drive performance car and was wondering how strong are the transmissions.

Ha Not strong at all if its stock granpa can break with out hitting 60mph just read through the threads the trans is the weakest link of the whole car

site TEP they got a shift kit that should help if yours not too far gone just installed one with tranny cooler big difference i just follow a lot of these guys leads and have not been steered wrong yet did bmr canuck springs diablew tune ect iv noticed big improvements everywhere so welcome my friend
