Default Diablosport... Spark Tables

Ok,

So i got interested in this whole diablosport thing. I hooked up my auto enguinity to my friends car who has this "Diablosport" "tune" and was interested what the timing was actually doing and if the tune it imposed actually "Does" anytihng.

Now this may not apply to other people at "other" elevations

But i can tell you , if you live in dallas texas you will not make ANY additional power using with the Diablosport tune.

The diablosport tune modifies the spark tables "after .70 of Cylinder air mass"

If you do some data logging on your car, you'll notice that the car never even EXCEEDS .70 so it never see's this "modified Timing" as a matter of fact. at wot the timing is pegged between 20-30 degree's ANYWAYS which is all this spark adjustment does except at higher cylinder air mass

Ok,so the dark red is the timing the car actually "uses"

The blue is the timing that "Diablosport" modifies..... That way for some of you visual folks you can better understand.
