Hi guys I came across a ls6 intake and would like to put it on, the only thing is the dod valley cover, I would still be using the stock cam and lifters, but the DOD would be tuned out but I found a valley cover that has the oil fitting angled to clear the intake but its a non dod cover so my question is can I use this cover with the dod lifters and cam if its tuned out. Ill try to post pics up later thanks in advance

No you can't you need the dof cover even though you're not using it.

All you need is a dod cover or yours to take to a local welder to rework the tower should cost no more than 70bucks max
