Default LS3/7 Gold blade TB

As some you may know already, these can swapped as well in addition to the truck throttle bodies, I am only posting this so that any myths about the TB blade opening reverse causing issues can be dismissed. If your in the market i suggest these throttle bodies over the silver blade any day, ill post my reasonings below.

The Gold blade TB throttle body as a shape that better allows air to enter at part throttle and WOT. The way the ramp in the housing sits, allows no obstruction like the old silver blades had. The Silver blade has ramps on both sides. while both of these throttle bodies are 90MM the gold blade does the job more efficently and if you look at any calibration file you will notice a 5% over all increase in effective area.

The wiring is also the exact same, so refrence the sticky if you need the pinouts

These can be had brand new for cheap on amazon 134.00 bucks shipped

You'd probably need a spacer to bolt it to the LS4 intake right?
Although I understand there would be (little to) no power benefit but it would result in a very snappy throttle response.

Big benefit on LS2/6/1 mani swaps I'd imagine!

Same pinout as I mentioned earlier so if your already wired for a LS2 it's plug and play

That is good to know! I paid more to get a LS2 one at the time because I knew it had been used before on one of the early LS4 swaps into Fieros.

I will likely go the LS3 route if I do another one or have to replace mine.
