It's was all hpt this guy that was tuning the car prefers efi live so that's what was used in the last file. I have hpt so that is why I sent hpt file. Regardless I'm over it I'm going to find another tuner or have Kevin from cartuning tune it in person when he comes to fl after Christmas. On a side note I picked up a engine today Its complete heads, water pump channel, flywheel, intake alt bracket, valley cover pretty much everything except the short block for sale pm me for anything anyone might need

To be honest Kevin had my car running great before cam swap and wasn't able to make time after. Kevin spent a lot of time loged on to my computer and car ran awesome. And definitely never would've blew up the way it did with his tuning. There detonation alot of it. So I could find another guy that has great reviews like the last guy and might end up awesome or with another grenade of a engine. I know that there are many different ways to skin the cat Kevin in my opinion thus far has been the best to me.

I guess man. By now though in my opinion you should take this matter in your hands and start learning how to tune your own.

It's coming it's at a highly recommended machine shop that specializes in ls stuff waiting for him to get a parts list ready. And yes the mount is custom by x11nut that was his first mount he crafted up in his garage I was the tester as with the others he had made for him.

Good deal. Did you find a good deal on the replacement? I've been keeping my eye out but these things fetch a pretty penny for sure. Half the ones on eBay look like a ****** fire sale for 1200+ .

I would seriously reconsider your cam choice while everything is apart

yea but 91 the motor should be stout enough for his cam,he was with stock rods,so all the upgrades he is doing should suffice, but builder will have something to say about that anyway,he is not gonna stand behind something he knows is outrageous,i mean he will do what pimpala tells him,but he will guide him i think

I thought the LS9 cam was a good choice for turbo cars? I would defiantly have a look at the lobes with all that internal damage though. Superglide is right, builder should know.

The ls9 cam works , however the huge split between exhaust and intake lobes are most beneficial for a supercharged application. Turbo cams are designed with the intake and exhaust events closer to each other.

Builder is doing a custom grind turbo cam here is the specs 222/227 .602/.598 113+3 with 1.7 rockers. And somehow the cam made it out with no damage but I'm not using anything from the motor except heads witch checked out good
