Default Changing tranny fluid

I just got my car back from the tranny shop and I want to replace the tranny fluid to put some redline or amsoil what is the best way to get as much of the tranny fluid out as possible for the fluid change

Drop the pan I believe.

Given your power output now i'd think twice on that fluid choice. Dave @tep has a dex/tractor hydraulic fluid recipe that works better for higher hp pplications shoot him a email first before you go blowing money on redlime

Your transmission has been apart and rebuilt, the non flushing is more towards people with high mileage. Either way if you cant get all of the existing fluid out, then its just a complete waste of money to add a superior fluid that mixes with your existing fluid. If you are hell bent on replacing the fluid, I would flush it. And add a drain plug if you have not already.
