Anyone change this idler before?

Anyone change this idler before? Having a look over the car the other night, I noticed a chunk missing from this idler pulley. (see pic below)
It's right next to the body and it has a hex/allen style bolt rather than a simple 13 or 15mm bolt like the rest. Should I pull the upper engine mount out and move the engine forward, and then I can get at the bolt? Anyone replaced this one before?
Going to look for a metal replacement. Stock one looks like it is plastic.

Yes I've replaced it but my engine was out of the car when I did it. IIRC it's a star pattern bolt in it. And plastic is the only way it comes. Only reason mine broke is because it smashed against the engine bay as I was pulling it out.
