Default Sway bar link

Was wondering if u guys with gxp's could check something for me. My sway bar link on the passenger side is attached to the rearward hole of the bilstein strut whereas the driverside is attached to the front hole.
Is this correct and if so why do they do it like this ? Would this not make the sway bar lengths different ?

Mine are both attached to the rear hole, factory end links and have never been apart. That is for the front bar.

for all intents and purposes, it looks like you have two passenger side struts, or the tab is broken off or something. Because its clearly not on the right side.

U just can't see it from the picture but the strut has both holes and it was mounted in the incorrect one. That link hasn't been changed from factory. Don't really use the car much just as a summer car. I'm changing both links and sway bar bushings tomorrow in case this caused undue stress. I have a kinda clunk in the from which I'm hoping is the bushings.

Must have been some drunk factory worker, that doesnt even look right. If you are using the moog poly bushings and thicker end links you will notice a marked improvement. Good luck, post back your findings.
