Cv shaft squeak

Cv shaft squeak I have a low speed squeak coming from my driver side cv shaft where the shaft connects to the transmission. It's only at speeds 7 mph or lower and occurs both forward and reverse. There is no play in the shaft and it doesn't give any other symptoms of failure. No difference if the brake is being used or not and everyone in a while the squeal is slightly louder during low speed left turns. Once over 7 mph it's silent. Is this thing on its way to failure or is this just a benign nuisance?
