5V or 10V Battery Current Sensor

5V or 10V Battery Current Sensor Rockauto suggests that part number 10306471 is the "first design" 10V version... and part number 13505369 is the "second design" 5V version.
As a 2008 I would have thought my car should have came with the 2nd design, but I have the 10V part number on my car. Am I wrongly assuming the 2nd design is.... better... or newer?
why the 2 versions?

but... just wondering which came first the 5v or 10 v? 2008 GXP has the 10V so it came second NOT as rock auto suggest or???
