Hey guys I'm new here and new to the ls world. I recently bought a 2008 Grand Prix gxp for a fairly cheap price knowing it has a blown transmission. I can get it rebuilt for around 1350 or buy a used one out of a gtp for 100 and about 500 to get it put in. Which would be the better option and are the trannys swappable between the gtp and gxp?

Rebuilt for 1350 is a steal and really your only option anyway . Even other LS4 cars transmissions are different because no TaPshift.
