HELP! Total loss of throttle!

HELP! Total loss of throttle! I am having a problem out of my 08 SS where the car has lost pretty much all of the throttle when it is in drive, 2nd and 1st. So oddly enough it drives like normal when its left in 3rd. I can here the engine doing something and it MAY rev up and lunge forward, but otherwise it is completely undrivable. A little more history about it. It was only doing this in 2nd and 1st gear only, but today it started to do it in drive as well. And I can start to feel it doing it in 3rd as well. Its like a disease that is spreading.
My first thought is to replace the TPS, but would that be the culprit if it runs (mostly) normal 3rd?
I have no codes going off. Car idles fine and drives with plenty of power.
Its my DD and I am completely at a loss here so I'm starting to $#!t bricks.
