My 2015 camaro HUD seems to be malfunctioning. The unit wont turn on any more, it was on then it ended turning off. I am researchign some, as I cannot look at my car itself at the moment. Trying to figure it out so when I get to it i can fix it. I have seen it could be a fuse, a spring in the HUD for the mirror reflector, or the hud has totally burned out some how. Any Help?

 

you must live in a sunshine state... drive it year round... and now out of the 3 year warranty.

One of the few problems on a car that I would guess is not easy to figure out.

The HUD on Grand Prix GXP's is a different version so other than the entire unit burning out in some way I'd guess there is not a lot of similarities.

my guess would be the tension spring. mine broke and have been too lazy to fix it turn your hud on at night and look through the windshield down at the hud. if you see green then the spring broke off.......
