Identify these parts? Hello all, I am in the middle of helping a friend rebuild the 4t65E in his GXP, and while we had the car on the hoist and the transmission out we figured we would pull the pan and change the leaky gasket. The attached pics show the parts we found in the pan. This is my first foray into an LSX engine so can anyone shed some light on where these bits came from? The engine ran great and no strange noises. Obviously my biggest concern is that bearing looking piece but like I said the engine ran great right up to the point the transmission gave up.

They appear to be parts of the timing chain tensioner, I'm still not sure if we are gonna pull then engine and fix it at this point or just let it go for now, Seems like every thread I have read about guys finding these bits in the pan is about how they were found by chance when the engine was being rebuilt or the pan was removed for another reason.
