Default Can a 3.8 be replaced with an Ls4!

I've got a '98 olds 88 that I love but the 3.8l engine failed shortly after I had the top end gaskets replaced at around 103k. I'd love to make this a project and I'm curious if an Ls4 is even a possibility. I know it would take a lot. Just want to know if could work.
Thanks in advance for any pointers

Very much so but 3.8L Super charged would be a better power plant in that application. If they are done correctly, you should have zero reliability issues and make better power with minimal effort.

Yeah. From a practical, numbers stand point I know your right. The ls4 angle sounded like more of a head Turner to me but realistically I'm afraid of opening a can of worms by trying to pull it off. Thanks for your valuable input
