So this weekend I replaced my Transmission with a Triple Edge performance unit. I also had to drop the engine for some maintenance. Now to the part I forgot what goes on the hose fitting on the intake manifold highlighted in yellow. I place a plug on it to stop a possible vacuum leak. for some reason I have high idle also once I start moving.

Nothing goes there, its a dead port with no vacuum.

 

Thank you now to figure out why I have the high idle if not a vacuum leak.

 

You could still have a vacuum leak, just wont be there.Check for cracked hoses as by now these are brittle and moving them around could have damaged them.
