Default Just bought a GXP

Traded in a 2002 Mustang last week for a 2006 GXP. What do you know, somebody still knows how to build a V8 that delivers low end torque! this car is a blast to drive and seat of the pants only, sure doesn't lose anything to the pony! I'm going to enjoy this car.

WElcome to the "Other" Side. You'll have fun I'm sure. Chevy and GM have risen to the challenge and started producing good cars again.

Wait until you do a little modifications to the motor. They respond well to upgrades.

It's good to be back on the "other side", I had 98 Grand Prix GTP Coupe at one time. Already looking at the mod situation, figure the KN drop-in is first, then we'll see what else is available. As you indicate, and judging by some of the other posts, there seems to be a lot of potential for unleashing some extra ponies!

I would say Intake, Headers and a mild cam. These mods should pick up anywhere between 60-80rwhp. Mine picked up 100rwhp with Intake, headers, cutout and cam.

Congratulations on the purchase. I know you will be happy with it.

Yeah its probably the mildest current LS based production motor (not including truck models) So it has plenty of potential.

Parts are out there. More are on the way. I know that SLP sells some parts now. WE still need headers made and the cams figured out.

Also know that tunning is on the way too. PArts are comming.
