the front plugs are fine, the rears will take some work but it is doable.

Anything beyond that, and its remove the powertrain for service.

the transmission is a 4T65eHD from the GRand Prix with a 3800SC engine.

The trans is extremely built in this car from DynoTech Performance.

Guess the LSx is lighter than the 3.8L SuperCharged engine. Really, it is not my car, so I have no clue was springs are in the car. I just build them for people. I have a 1997 Grand Prix GTP and plan to install a stock vette LS1 to it. I love to drive this car, but I dont need a 383 storker for my family car. I will have a mid level motor in my Fiero however. Something like 450RWHP..

The block is from a vette. The build page is here http://www.fastfieros.com/projects

Tom purchased the heads from Texas Speed, and in that time frame, they were phasing out 98 style heads with Stage 2 porting. Even my opinion is Tom needs to update the heads, but he is convinced the cam is not right, so in a couple months I have to remove the powertrain again.

just cause yourblock is from a 98 vette doesnt mean its a LS6. its just youre typical ls1 which isnt nothing wrong with it just that you shouldnt state it was a LS6 when its nowhere near being a LS6

kinda sound like one of those old school chevy ppl, always saying they had a vette motor in their cars when nothing more then a typical 350

Yes, well thank you... I have went back to previous postings you have made to others and can draw a conclusion about you also.

Its a 2001 block with part number 12561168.. If you took the time to review my website you would run across several links with alot of useful information to actually educate yourself.

Like I said, Tom ORDERED the heads from Texas Speed and in that time frame they were selling 1998 style heads in Stage 2 for reasonable within Tom's budget. That does not have any bearing on the block what so ever.

wow you need to relax. It's an ls6 block with ported heads on it. So would you rather him call it a lsx motor. There isn't anything misinterperted about it. He used a 2001 ls6 motor part number listed and then picked up a set of stage 2 ported heads.
