Just picked up my new SS

Just picked up my new Impala SS from the local dealer, I bought it sight unseen and undriven. Seems to have decent power to redline, but I have been babying it since it hit my garage. Since I got married 5 years ago I had to dump all of my cars to build a home:1986 Grand National, 1989 L98 Camaro, 1989 Turbo Trans Am(my favorite). This car seems to be faster than the stock GN and L98 Camaro. After I built the house, had a nice garage without a cool car, Mission now accomplished. All here seem to be a very informative group, I read most of the "problems" posts before making my purchase, thanks. Will be in touch, Mike in NEPA.

that's how I bought my Monte SS back in November 2005 - they weren't out yet around here, so I had ordered mine, and the first time I saw it, sat in it, and drove it was when I went to sign the papers and pick it up...

damn, should have kept the TTA. they are faster being that they have better heads, and some other goodies. hence the best of the best of the GN world. freakin awesome cars!
