Sorry... but who is gonna spend the time or money when the stock cam really isnt upgradable w/o some major trade offs. If one was smart they would try and max the potential of the stock LS6 heads to begin with. And that would take one healthy cam and more CI...

Hate the cam also ... flat / no mid-range pull. LS6 heads are more than plenty for this motor. We need a "normal" LS1 style replacement cam (no DoD) that will pull hard through the entire rpm range, instead of a truck / RV / towing cam.

Because its not that easy, there is a lot of $$ that will need to be invested. I would think you would need new Heads, Cam, and Tranny before you can think about upgrading just one of them.
