surge stock 07 hwy surge @ 60-80 light throttle (cruise) tac jumps 300 rpm thought it was dod but it did it without dash 4-8 switchover 900 miles on car. not bad now but its going to drive me nuts soon

looks like i found the surge. trans let go slips in all gears dealer has car now (3 weeks & 1020 miles) 1st gm hope this isnt the way thing are going to be dealer wants to send car to trans rebuilder this sucks new car junk rebuilt trans is this how gm handles warranty

yeah, that'd be a big NO on a rebuilt tranny... it's under warranty... that should be getting a brand new tranny, all on GM's dime...
I certainly wouldn't let that happen with mine...

On my Monte, the rpm jump is only around 50 to 100 rpm, with the engine staying in 4 or 8 cylinder constant. It's a very small surge, but it is constantly there no matter what. This may drive me right out of this car if it is not addressed soon, as it's really irritating!
