if you're using HPT, it's not accurate on the KR... I had this situation in mine over the summer and it was proven at the track to be wrong, was showing a 2* KR in third on HPT and nothing on the other scanners and Wide band was 12.8, I was told this is normal (HPT to show false KR readings intermittently) just don't let that keep you form leaning it out some.. on a N/A car it wouldn't matter anyway..

Really, well if thats the case its good information to know. Thanks. I haven't seen any KR at WOT for a few months now. I'm going to lean it out now for sure.

Just a couple of thoughts.

I've been watching this torque converter from a launch. Mine kinda mimics slipping the clutch on a M6, kicks in around 2K, pulls hard. But IMO this thing wants to get up in as high of a gear as possible as fast as it can, like CAGS just past the initial launch.

Passing manuevers above 55 mph are flawless, the car pulls very strong. Just has that dead zone 25-55 where IMO the car doesn't upshift / downshift properly, and lacks the V8 muscle.

So it seems you have to hold the car in the gear you want.

Still think the car is a great daily driver.
