How's your idle?
Is this simply a characteristic of LSx engines? I am perfectly aware that this is a V8, and not a honda 4-cylinder, but I'm not the only one who has noticed it while riding in the car. The LT4 in my other car is smooth as butter, all the time. I changed the oil promptly at 2,000 miles (stuck with regular for the first oil change, will switch to synthetic next time) and babied the sucker for the first 1,000 miles of its life. So what do you think?
Thanks for your input -

But the MCSS's LS4 is smooth. But most of the time my radio is on loud enough that I have bass interfering with the car's feedback.
I got 24K on it now, so I'll pay attention to it on the way to work today.
